We recently had an extension built and an outbuilding knocked through and converted into a disabled wet room and toilet.  The works were carried out by HOMEBUILDER.  As someone with very high expectations and standards, I can honestly say that I could not fault this company.  Right from the start they listened to my wishes.  Nick the owner was always easily accessible on the phone and in person nothing was too much trouble.  The excellent team that carried out the works were very experienced trades men who were always very polite and left my property clean and tidy at the end of each day, so much so that my neighbours had commented on how tidy they were.  All the work carried out was to a very high standard and has made such a difference the my fathers quality of life.  I can’t thank Homebuilder enough and would definitely recommend them to anyone who is thinking of having works carried out.

This was not an easy project to undertake given the age of the property and some of the structural problems. However, at all times I found Homebuilder Scarborough to be a knowledgeable ,efficient  and professional  organisation.  Potential problems or difficulties were dealt with calmly and options were clearly outlined.  The workers were committed , respectful and personable, and I really appreciated the feedback from Nick Sheader each day.

Nick took time to go into fine detail and offer his thoughts and ideas on our original plans this proved both creative and cost effective. His estimate went into fine detail and was easily understood.

Confidence; For us the confidence began on initial communication with Nick. Then grew as the project progressed and the team’s attitude and attention to detail was experienced. This was furthered when, considering our home is in parts 200 years old, architecturally unseen hurdles were not presented as ‘problems’ rather there was confident debate with various choices on a solution.

I just wanted to take a little time to say a big Thank You to yourself and the Homebuilders team regarding the recent disabled ground floor adaptation for our teenage son.
A lot of people may not appreciate how difficult it is to have ‘building work’s’ going on whilst still needing to use existing equipment, adaptations and managing specific needs of a profoundly disabled teenager.
It was very refreshing to have yourself and the team be completely understanding of the family’s requirements and work around us, not only that I feel it’s fair to voice that your team were at all times polite and considerate, worked very hard, keeping any mess or disruption to the minimum and ensuring the home remained as clean as possible at all times.
Further to that I would like to say you did an excellent job working with both myself and the disabled facilities agent to ensure the job was done ahead of time, to specific detail and requirements as requested, your input was very much valued and appreciated, it is not an easy task to negotiate between a family and an agent administering the disabled facilities grant but you did so with ease and confidence.
The whole ground floor bedroom and bathroom extension with the adaptations are perfect and have made a huge difference to Jakes life and have had such a positive impact on the family, we really cannot thankyou all enough for your hard work and commitment to ensuring that the works were done with speed and utmost consideration to Jakes needs at all times.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Homebuilders to anybody that needed any building work done, you have a fantastic team of workers and have been a pleasure to work with.
